In this article. you will find instructions on how to add content to Content Catalog from within the Content Catalog app.

Keep in mind that all users are able to upload content to Content Catalog. However, it’s important to note that if they aren’t a Company or Collection admin, then the content will have to be approved by an admin before it is added. End users could also add content to Content Catalog (pending admin approval) by using Batch Export.

First, select the cloud icon on the left side of the screen.

Next, click on Collections and indicate which Collection you want to add this content to.

Next, navigate to the folder directory on your computer where your content is currently located, and then drag and drop the files that you’d like to upload to the drag-and-drop section.

When you drag and drop a folder structure of Revit content into Content Catalog, the names of the folders will automatically be added as tags to the content. This allows you to quickly batch upload many items that will be easily found using Content Catalog's robust search feature.

To add tags manually, select the plus (+) symbol under the tags icon. You can also add notes and tags in batch by selecting multiple items and then selecting the three vertical dots to the right of the checkbox.

If you want to add any notes, double click on the content’s section under the Notes column.

Then, select the Upload button at the bottom of the screen.

This helps to get you onboarded much quicker within Content Catalog because it prevents you from having to re-organize your content.
