When viewing search results in the Details display mode you may customize the grouping of your results for all display modes. This can be achieved by selecting the header of a column and dragging it to the top right of the results pane where you see “Drag here to set row groups”. This will allow you to group content into a hierarchical structure that is organized based on your preference. For example, if your search criteria is common to multiple Collections, and Revit categories like “Door Details,” you could be searching for Architectural drafted details or simply detail components for a door detail. By grouping Collection then category your search result lets you easily expand the applicable areas of your results to ensure it is the correct Collection then the correct content category as seen below.
