In Content Catalog, user access and permissions are based on Groups and not individual users.

In Content Catalog, user access and permissions are based on Groups and not individual users. Group permissions are administered on the Collection Permissions Tab.

Below is a list of what features are available for each permission selection

ACC ADMINISTRATORS

ACC admins can view and manage everything in Content Catalog.

  • Search, view, and insert/download for content that exists in any Collection.

  • Uploaded content is approved automatically for all Collections; where applicable, a new revision is automatically created for the content.

  • View and manage all content requests.

  • Manage Collection permissions.

  • Restore a previous revision of any content that exists in any Collection.

ACC Administrators Exclusive Duties:

NOTE: Regardless of a specific Groups permission level, the following actions can only be performed by company administrators:

  • Manage default menus (Configurable Menus) for the entire company.

  • Set default Search Preferences for all users in the company.

  • Add, modify and delete users

  • Add and delete groups

  • Manage groups

  • Add Collection
